Mungu Land

… what should you expect? It’s church, but you want to make sure your kids are going to have a good time, learn something, and be safe during it all. So what do we offer that lets you as a parent feel confident that is exactly what’s going to happen?

Nursery (Birth - 2 years)
This area of our children’s ministry provides a secure and loving environment for your young children so you can worship in the adult service, or serve in another ministry area. Our volunteers undergo background checks and we have a tag and pager system in place to ensure your child’s safety. While your child is with us, they will have fun playing with other children, checking out the fun toys, and interacting with our amazing nursery workers.

Preschool (2 - 5 years)
What a fun age! This is the period of your child’s life where the question “Why?” comes out more often. Children are fascinated by the world around them and, above all, are very tactile learners. When we talk about a story in the Bible, we want to give them something to touch or smell that correlates with that story. It’s about so much more than sitting through a story… it’s about understanding how kids learn and using that to capture their attention and captivate young minds and hearts.  At Parker Hill, our Children’s Ministry wants to work with you and navigate this precious age. MunguLand Preschool is designed to give children a first impression of their loving heavenly Father. Each week, preschoolers take part in a large group time that includes a Bible story, puppets, and worship. After large group time, children participate in a small group time where a small group leader encourages them to take part in a variety of activities that will help them apply what they are learning. MunguLand is driven by the three things we want every kid to know:

* God made them.
* God loves them.
* Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

So that’s a small breakdown of our MunguLand ministry areas. It’s hard to do it justice with words. At Parker Hill, we strive to make our small window in your child’s life count! So come out and see for yourself our one-of-a-kind ministry!

These are pictures from our last MunguLand Safari event. These events happen twice a year and gives families a glimpse of what happens in their kids’ lives on Sunday mornings. They walk through everything from small group time to large group worship, with puppets, singing, dancing, and a Bible story. This is a great time to meet the other families in your child’s class and interact with their Small Group Leader!
