What Is Communications?

The Communications Department deals with the things you see, read, click, or interact with. We develop digital and printed communications pieces, manage social media and web presence, build communications infrastructure, advertise, and direct marketing efforts—all on behalf of your ministry.

A Note About Lead Times

The Communications team works with all ministry areas and is frequently involved with major church-wide projects. As such, we require as much lead time as possible to properly prioritize and complete projects. The lead times listed below are the minimums required for our advance planning, designing, and printing timeframes. Any extra time you can give would be very helpful.

Using the Forms

Below you will find forms for the major communications requests we work with you on: social, web, print, and weekend. Use these forms to plan and request resources from the Communications Department. Please note that a communication request does not guarantee project approval—but it is the first step.

Social Media Post

We can help you get the word out! You submit photos, links, copy, and any other important info, and we put it together and get it in the schedule.

(Lead Time: 2 Weeks)

Design & Print

Handouts, response cards, signs, postcards—these projects require extra lead time for both the design and printing phases. Submit your project assets and information here.

(Lead Time: 4-6 Weeks)

Website Update

Pages, forms, information, and graphics can be updated as needed. Submit your request for a website update here. For correction of errors, please email Communications directly.

(Lead Time: 2 Weeks)

Event Registration Form

If you need to create a registration form in Rock for an event, use this form to submit the information. Requests are sent directly to Heidi Marion.

(Lead Time: 1 Weeks)

Weekend Communication

Once you have added a request to the Weekend Communication Chart, please submit pertinent script details and language, photos and graphics, times, dates, etc.

(Lead Time: 4 Weeks)

Graphics & Branding

Graphics that don't fall into the social media or weekend communication categories may be requested here. This would include signage, custom print resources, event or ministry branding etc.

(Lead Time: 4+ Weeks depending on the project)

Email Communication

Send an email to a large group of members and attenders or be included in the What's Happening at Parker Hill weekly email. You do not need to use this to communicate with crew members under your leadership.

(Lead Time: 2 Weeks)

COVID-19 Update

In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
