Take joy in this fact: Jesus came into the world to demonstrate His love for every individual. Your life isn’t of more value because you are married. With His blood on the cross, Jesus spoke the significance of you, ALONE, without any added ingredients, like a spouse. You stand accepted, forgiven, just as you are. Nowhere in the Bible does God promise us marriage. Have people told you, “God has someone who will be perfect for you!”? God has made no such promise. But He HAS promised to meet our needs, strengthen and help us, counsel, delight in and uphold us, never leave or forsake us, fight for, save, and forgive us, bind up our broken hearts, and walk faithfully every step of our lives with us. What person can make such promises to us? None. Marriage will not give you everything you want in life—only Christ can do that. Dwell on His forever promises.
