 It’s been many years since I’ve been part of the dating game, but I do see my children in it. Quite frankly, I think it’s much harder these days. I see them battle loneliness, wondering if they will ever find someone, asking if there is something wrong with them if they don’t. Remember playing tag when you were young? You ran all over the place, but when you came back to base, you were safe. Our thoughts can run all over the place when in this season of life. Allow this verse to be your ‘base’, your safe spot. Because no matter what is going on, we can rest in and be encouraged by the fact that God has a plan. More importantly, His plan is centered on peace, your well-being, hope, a future, and definitely not a disaster. Allow God’s thoughts toward you reassure you that His timing and His purpose are perfect.
