forever.” Each of the 26 times that phrase is repeated, it reminds us of the completeness of God’s love. The Psalmist credits the Lord for his wonderful works 22 times and he prompts us to give thanks to the Lord 4 times. This shows that we are to constantly keep God’s good works on our mind and to give thanks to Him. The world is full of chaos and inconsistency, but God’s love is sure. This Psalm gives directions for a healthy spiritual life. It is similar to what Paul says in Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” How will we fill our minds?
