One of my most favorite words is agape. One of the Greek words for love, ‘Agape,’ is powerful enough to transform hearts and empower people. It has the power to create new life, forgive old debts, and transform everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. It’s a word that is used to describe God’s love for each and every one of us, no matter what we have done. Isn’t that one word so beautiful and full of hope!? It’s warm and inviting yet powerful and intimidating at the same time. It is the opposite of that darkness that calls you into sin. That one word alone has the power to pull you in to wanting to strive for this kind of love, for yourself and to share it with others. We get to experience that through Jesus. And we get to pass it along.
In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
