The days leading up to Easter were pivotal in the life and ministry of Jesus. It was during this time that Jesus began to predict and prepare himself for his own death. Because of his death and resurrection, we have a hope that does not disappoint. The season of Lent can help each of us prepare our hearts for a celebration of Easter.
Lent is not a religious season that we typically associate with Protestant Christians. In fact, for a long time now, the season of Lent has been viewed by evangelicals as a legalistic method of earning salvation and acceptance by Jesus. The truth is that there is a lot of value in preparing your heart in the days leading up to Easter. We have assembled a list of resources that may be helpful in both understanding and observing Lent.
