The future is bright for Parker Hill Church! Learn about our exciting vision for the future. Learn more!
“O come, thou key of David, come, and open wide our heavenly home. Make safe the way that leads on high and close the path to misery. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee O Israel.” When the nation of Israel was in captivity, God spoke to them and promised them a better future. He encouraged them to seek Him, promising that He would be found. Eventually their path of misery ended as they entered the Promised Land. Our path to misery ends when we set out on the road made safe by Christ. Let us search for direction, give our hearts and lives to Him, and trust that His will for us is perfect. He knows what lies in store for those who love Him, and He promises to keep us safe and give us hope for the future. Once we acknowledge this, we understand the purpose in our suffering and that our trials serve to further God’s kingdom!
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
