What can we help you find?

Imagine being part of a church that was known for its generosity and compassion. What if unchurched people were not skeptical of church, but were curious instead? What if the church became known for what it is for, instead of what it is against? That’s the kind of church we have always strived to be. In this series, we’ll talk about the future vision of Parker Hill and what it will take to be a church that’s For NEPA.

Love Your Neighborhood

Ask yourself this question: If your church were to cease to exist, would your community miss it? Would they even notice? We want to be a church that is known for being For NEPA. In this message, Mark Stuenzi talks about what that looks like and casts a big vision for the future of Parker Hill Church.

It's Beyond Me

In Luke 19, Jesus surprised and upset many people by going to lunch with Zacchaeus, a notorious chief tax collector. In response to the complaints, Jesus gives with what may be the clearest statement of his mission in this world: “the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” In this message, we focus on the reason why we exist: to help people far from God come home to grace.

When We Step Forward

In Joshua 3, the people of Israel were facing what seemed to be an insurmountable obstacle: the Jordan River at flood stage. On the other side of that river was their future home, their future identity. But in order to get from where they were to where they needed to be, they had to focus on God and his promises, and take a step of faith.

Living Beyond Myself

If we are going to be a church that is for Northeastern Pennsylvania and not just in Northeastern Pennsylvania, we need to have the right perspective about people. We have see them as God sees them. Luke 12 tells the story of a man who had the wrong perspective about his life and his wealth. And because of that, he missed the opportunities God had for him.

Never Not Enough

When we are faced with a great opportunity and a seeming lack of resources we can do one of two things: We can do nothing, or we can do what we can with what we have. When we each do our part, God will multiply our efforts, needs will be met and God will be glorified.
