It’s Complicated

Relationships are complicated. The Bible is completely realistic about the challenges we face in our relationships. In Romans 12:18, it says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” The truth is, it isn’t always possible to be at peace with everyone, but we need to make sure that we do our best to make that happen. To put it very simply, great relationships are possible but they are not probable.

The message of Christianity is this: "Jesus in my place." Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Baptism is the symbol of the new life we have in Christ so we can live our lives for him.
