One of the best ways to make a bad decision is to focus only on the moment. We don’t think about what this is going to mean down the road. The world tells us to do what makes us happy or you only live once. As a result, we end up marrying the wrong person, having financial crisis, or living with emotional scars. God wants us to think long-term so we can have a great God-honoring future.
