Busy, busy, busy! When you ask anyone how his/her life is going, inevitably the response is ‘busy’. We spend our time jumping up and down, exerting all our energy but never taking a step forward. We’re exhausted at the end of day yet lie awake at night going over tomorrow’s tasks. This verse reminds us that, while there are important places we need to be and people that need our attention, we often don’t make the best use of our time. There are so many distractions holding us back and luring us away from what really matters. But, how do we decipher between the minutia and substance? We need to turn to God’s word and prayer for discernment. We need to take an inventory of our obligations and eliminate the distractions. Then, and only then can we move forward using our energy to forward God’s will for us.

COVID-19 Update

In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
