Every four years there’s something that decreases during the election year – compassion and empathy for others. Comment sections in social media are ablaze with divisiveness. Political ads are out for blood. Dinner tables can become battlegrounds. Nothing polarizes people more than a lack of compassion. When compassion and empathy ceases, so does our ability to listen, love, and serve others. The last thing political campaigns want is for people to live out today’s verse. Which of the five character traits do you need to practice more?

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
