When God uses “dark horses” to accomplish His will, He does plenty of behind the scenes work to assure the victory. He does not leave us alone in the fray but prepares what we can’t see and waits for us to obey what He asks. What has God asked you to do? Talk about Jesus with someone at work or in your neighborhood, start a Bible study in the city, speak before a group of young moms? Impossible, perhaps even horrifying, thoughts for those of us who don’t think we have the ability, the personality, the strength, or the energy. Know this: If God wants you to do something, He prepares the way, supplies the need, and walks with you to do the impossible. He has worked behind the scenes in people and circumstances so you can do what He has asked. He’s got this. Trust God to work what you can’t see. Then, step out and do your part.
