The future is bright for Parker Hill Church! Learn about our exciting vision for the future. Learn more!
If it feels good, it must be right. If it satisfies my desires, it must be okay with God. God wants me to be happy, doesn’t He? These are the sentiments people are thinking and speaking right now. However, these beliefs couldn’t be further from the truth. God wants happiness and contentment for us, but if our actions don’t line up with the principles He has outlined in His Word, the feel-good emotion will be temporary, and the long-term consequences will be devastating. God’s laws are not antiquated commandments designed to restrict our freedom. He instituted them for our protection to keep us from a life of disaster and despair. God loves us and desires the best for us. He seeks a deeper relationship with us every day. However, we will distance ourselves from Him when we live for the moment.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 NIV
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
In cooperation with orders from the PA Department of Health, and out of a heart of concern and care for our community, masks are now required for everyone ages 2+ while inside Parker Hill Church buildings.
